Nice to meet you!
If you're considering sharing your story with me, here's a bit about who I am: I'm a Cleveland-based introvert who loves the Cavs, reads voraciously, and watches perhaps too much TV (and yes, your favorite Real Housewife can tell me a lot about you!). My office features movie posters rather than calming botanical prints, and my co-therapist is a boundary-free cat named Clementine who might just crash our sessions to knock things off my desk. I say "bonkers" too much, love stand-up comedy, and anything pistachio-flavored.
As a therapist, I believe in being genuine and creating a space where you can be your authentic self. You'll find me in t-shirts rather than formal wear, sharing genuine laughter, and probably tearing up right alongside you. I won't ever let you minimize your successes…and I'll always want to see your pets.
My path to becoming a therapist is deeply personal. I understand how anxiety can hold you back, how depression can drain your motivation, and how society's expectations can lead us to doubt our worth. These experiences shaped my approach to therapy, which combines feminist perspectives with evidence-based practices to help you embrace your sensitivity as a strength and live authentically.
I specialize in working with highly sensitive people, people pleasers, and those navigating burnout and existential challenges. Looking back, I often think about how things might have been different if I'd learned earlier to embrace my sensitivity as a strength and understand that my worth isn't determined by others' opinions. These were challenging lessons, but they've made me a more empathetic therapist.
I truly believe it's never too late to start doing things differently and begin living life on your own terms.
You've got this – and I've got your back!
